History
Leffrey is the winemaking project of Stefano Minetti, a teacher living in Nus, who began working vineyards in the middle Aosta Valley in 2015 following organic and biodynamic methods before formally founding the winery in 2018 with a group of friends.
The estate is built around a 'less is more' philosophy of minimal intervention; its flagship red, '100 Franchi', is made from two century-old ungrafted vineyards and is reportedly the only red wine in the Aosta Valley produced from ungrafted vines.
