History
The Brannetti family have farmed the Roman countryside since Giovanni Brannetti bought land there in 1945 with his wife Ida; in 1986 Giuseppe and Daniela bought a vineyard inside the Appia Antica regional park and founded Riserva della Cascina.
A short distance from the centre of Rome, the family estate spans about twenty hectares — fifteen of vineyard, farmed organically since 1994 — making Roma DOC and Lazio wines within the archaeological park of the Appia Antica.
