History

Tenuta San Leonardo is the great Bordeaux-style estate of Trentino. On a walled property with monastic roots, Carlo Guerrieri Gonzaga, who trained with Giacomo Tachis, created the wine San Leonardo, a refined Cabernet-Merlot-Carmenère blend often called the Sassicaia of the north. Bottled as Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT, it is one of Italy's most elegant and age-worthy reds.
