History
Cantina Kaltern (Kellerei Kaltern) is a growers' cooperative on Lake Caldaro whose roots go to 1900, formed through the merger of the town's historic cellars, the last step in 2016.
With hundreds of member families and hundreds of hectares, it is an ambassador of the Kalterersee, the pale, gentle Schiava red of the lake, and of the wider Alto Adige denomination.
