History
The Alessandro family has grown grapes at Camporeale in inland western Sicily since the early 1900s; the current generation built the winery in 2000, farming organically by hand. Their calling card is Kaid, a Syrah from vines planted in 1989 in Contrada Mandranova, alongside expressive native Catarratto.
