History
The Pala family's viticultural roots go back to the early 1900s with Battistino Pala; his son Salvatore founded the winery at Serdiana in 1950 with his first harvest and moved it into the town centre in 1974. From the 1980s Salvatore's son Mario replanted and modernised the vineyards, making Pala one of southern Sardinia's benchmark estates; in 2024 the estate was acquired by the Tolaini family.
