History
Cantina Valbiferno was founded in 1976 by winegrowers from the lower Molise hills who pooled their vineyards into a single cooperative winery in Contrada Perazzeto, Guglionesi, in the province of Campobasso.
The cooperative farms both native varieties (Montepulciano, Aglianico, Trebbiano, Bombino, Malvasia, Moscato, Tintilia) and international ones (Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet, Pinot), and bottles under the Biferno and Molise DOC designations, including the Malecoste and Creta labels.
Wines
Illustrative selectionBiferno Rosso Malecoste
