History
The Trappolini family has farmed the Alta Tuscia for three generations; Mario Trappolini created the winery in 1961 at Castiglione in Teverina, near the Lazio-Umbria border. Since 2002 his grandsons Roberto and Paolo run it, working local varieties, with the Est! Est!! Est!!! di Montefiascone, the Sangiovese Paterno and an Aleatico passito among the range.
