History
The Mottura family has held this estate in the Alta Tuscia of northern Lazio since 1933, and Sergio Mottura made it Lazio's benchmark for Grechetto, earning national recognition as a grower. The estate is organic since 1991; its cru bottling, long called Latour a Civitella, was renamed La Torre a Civitella from the 2021 vintage after Château Latour objected to the name.
