History
Costa Graia is a small organic estate in the Cesanese del Piglio — the first DOCG of Lazio — with about seven hectares of vineyard near Torre del Piano, on the boundary between Piglio and Acuto southeast of Rome.
It works only grapes native to the area — Cesanese d'Affile alongside old local varieties such as Passerina, Ottonese, Uvapane, Nostrano and Fosco Peloso — farming organically and intervening as little as possible in the cellar, with the Cesanese del Piglio Superiore at the heart of the range.
