History

Coletti Conti is the estate that showed Cesanese, Lazio's great native red, could be world class. Antonello Coletti Conti, from an Anagni family that has held this land since the 1200s and given the Church four popes, began bottling his own wine in the mid-2000s. His dense, barrique-aged Romanico and Hernicus, pure Cesanese di Affile, quickly became the benchmarks for Cesanese del Piglio, with Hernicus taking Gambero Rosso's Tre Bicchieri.
