History

The Bressan family has worked land in Farra d'Isonzo since the 1700s, tracing back to founder Giacomo Bressan born in 1726; the estate is now run by ninth-generation winemaker Fulvio Bressan alongside his wife Jelena.

Fulvio's father Nereo Bressan, of the eighth generation, remained an active presence and influence on the cellar into his nineties, passing down both the land and the family's uncompromising approach to native red varieties like Schioppettino.
