History

Valentini is the most legendary name in Abruzzo. From a family present at Loreto Aprutino since the 17th century, Edoardo Valentini shunned publicity and modern commerce and turned Trebbiano d'Abruzzo into one of Italy's greatest and longest-lived white wines. His son Francesco Paolo continues to make just three wines, a profound Trebbiano, a dark, structured Cerasuolo rosé and a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, all rare and cult-followed.
