History
San Giusto a Rentennano, a former medieval Cistercian convent at Gaiole in Chianti, passed to the Martini di Cigala family in 1914 and to Enrico Martini di Cigala in 1957; his children run it today. It is one of Chianti Classico's most respected estates, and its varietal Sangiovese Percarlo, first made in 1983, is a benchmark Super Tuscan.
