History
The Castello di Bolgheri dates to the 13th century and belonged to the Conti della Gherardesca until 1895; it passed by female inheritance to the Zileri Dal Verme family, related to both the Incisa della Rocchetta and Antinori families.
Federico Zileri Dal Verme began converting the estate's agricultural land into vineyards in 1996 alongside his parents, turning a historic agricultural property into a bottling winery within the Bolgheri DOC.
