History

Nineteen growers of San Marzano di San Giuseppe founded the cooperative in 1962, on land worked for wine for over a thousand years.

Its roughly twelve hundred members now farm some fifteen hundred hectares for about twenty million bottles, best known for the old-vine Sessantanni and the Anniversario 62 Primitivo di Manduria.
