History
Cantine Baldassarre traces its origins to the early 1980s, when Angelo Baldassarre built a cellar equipped for vinifying the native grapes of the Salento countryside near San Donaci.
In 2002 his sons Salvatore and Giuseppe invested in renovating the winery, expanding production of Negroamaro and Primitivo-based wines while keeping the family's original site and equipment at the center of operations.
