History
Cavallotto is one of Barolo's great traditional monopole estates. Owning the Bricco Boschis hill at Castiglione Falletto since 1928, the family was among the first there to vinify only its own fruit and released its own estate Barolo in 1948. Its Barolo Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe Riserva, from long macerations and large botti, is a benchmark of classic, slow-ageing Barolo.
