History
Villa Bucci is the estate that made Verdicchio a great wine. Ampelio Bucci, who worked in Milan's fashion world, founded the wine estate in 1983 and, farming organically, showed that Verdicchio from old vines could be profound and long-lived. His Villa Bucci Riserva, aged in large casks and released only in top years, is a benchmark of Italian white wine.
