History
The Prevostini family has made wine on Valtellina's terraces since the mid-20th century, using the region's natural crotto caves; grandson Mamete Prevostini launched serious quality production in 1995 and became a leading name and consortium president. The Sassella and the Sforzato Albareda, from dried Nebbiolo, are his benchmarks.
