History
Medici Ermete was founded in 1890 by Remigio Medici near Reggio Emilia; his son Ermete built its reputation, and five generations on it is a benchmark of quality Lambrusco. In 1993-94 it made Concerto, one of Italy's first single-vineyard (cru) Lambruschi and a repeat Tre Bicchieri winner, from Lambrusco Salamino.
