History
The La Palazza estate grew around a watchtower built by Caterina Sforza in 1481; it has belonged to the Counts Drei Donà since the 1920s.
In 1980 Claudio Drei Donà left the legal profession to devote himself to the estate, aiming for excellence from 100% Sangiovese; his son Enrico continued the transformation.
'Vigna del Pruno' and 'Notturno' became iconic Predappio Sangiovese; organic conversion began 2015, biodynamic from 2020.
