Carra di Casatico was founded in 1992 on the Parma hills around the Torrechiara castle, a few kilometers from Langhirano.

Its best-known wine is the Colli di Parma Malvasia, the aromatic frizzante white of these hills, beside Sangiovese and Lambrusco.
