History
Terra di Briganti is a small family estate in Contrada Tacceto at Casalduni, on the Sannio hills a few kilometres from Benevento with a view over the Taburno; its name recalls the brigands who once sheltered in the triangle of country between the Colli barn, the Fontana Greca district and the Ferrarese wood in the years after Italian unification.
Run by the brothers Romeo and Toni De Cicco with Toni's wife Filomena Casbarra, the biodynamic estate farms its vineyards with natural methods and powers the cellar with photovoltaic energy, making organic Sannio wines — Aglianico, Falanghina and Coda di Volpe among them, including ancestral pet-nats.
