History

Angelo Muto, third generation of a Tufo family growing Greco since 1970, bought seven hectares of historic vineyards in 1995 and from 2006 vinified only his own Greco di Tufo. Working old vines above the town's ancient sulphur mines, he makes benchmark Greco, including the Riserva bottlings Miniere and the near-century-old-vine Torrefavale.
