History
Giovanni Russo set up a small winery at the foot of Vesuvius at Trecase in 1930; his son Maurizio built it up and, in the early 2000s, opened it to wine tourism.
The Russo family farms about eighteen hectares organically, making the Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio in red, white and rose from the volcano's native grapes.
