History
Bosco de' Medici was founded in 1996 by the Palomba and Monaco families at Pompei, at the foot of Vesuvius beside the ancient ruins, to make wines of the volcano.
It champions the rare Vesuvian white Caprettone for its Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio, and partly ferments in buried terracotta, a nod to the Roman winemaking uncovered at Pompeii.
