History
Cantina del Barone at Cesinali takes its name from a Naples baron who once owned the estate, bought by the Sarno family in the mid-1990s; the family had farmed the land for over a century. Luigi Sarno, winner of the Giulio Gambelli award in 2018, makes an artisanal, single-minded Fiano di Avellino, notably the cru Particella 928.
