History
Eugenio Cundari, a vigneron born in Detroit to Calabrian emigrant restaurateur parents, founded his winery in 2011 on the family's ancestral land near Figline Vegliaturo, a hill town with ancient agricultural roots in Cosenza province.
His grandparents and great-grandparents had cultivated vines on the same land, favoring native Calabrian varieties; Cundari continues that focus, producing Terre di Cosenza DOC wines such as the Donnici-zone red Don Filippo.
