History
The Vivacqua family acquired a former ecclesiastical property in the Crati Valley in the late 1800s, at first a hunting refuge, and in the 1940s restructured the farmhouse into a villa, turning the surrounding land into vineyards and olive groves.
The Luzzi-based family has made wine since the early 20th century on their sun-blessed Calabrian slopes.
The lawyer Luigi Vivacqua, son of Raffaele, with his wife Filomena Bosco carried the project forward, investing in modern vinification while working the natives of the Terre di Cosenza.
