History
Grifalco is one of the leading names of Aglianico del Vulture. The Piccin family, who had made Vino Nobile in Tuscany for twenty years, moved to Basilicata in 2004 to devote themselves to Aglianico. Farming organically at altitude on Vulture's volcanic soils, they make elegant, fragrant reds, from the entry Gricos to the flagship Grifalco and the single-vineyard Damaschito and Daginestra.
