About six hectares in the Contrada Solagna del Titolo at around 600m on the slopes of the dormant Monte Vulture at Barile, on dark volcanic (pozzolana) soils, with old vines planted in the 1950s, farmed organically.

History
Elena Fucci makes the modern benchmark of Aglianico del Vulture. As a teenager she persuaded her family not to sell their old-vine Titolo vineyard, high on the volcanic slopes of Monte Vulture, and founded her estate in 2000. Her single wine, Titolo, from those 1950s vines on black pozzolana soils, is one of southern Italy's greatest reds, deep, mineral and long-lived.
