History
Talestri was started in 2008 when the Marcato family, guided by Francesco Marcato after some 30 years producing Soave and Lessini Durello, acquired vineyard land in the hills below San Briccio, east of Verona.
The winery is now run day-to-day by his three daughters, Anna, Lisa and Francesca, who since 2015 have bottled the classic Veronese styles: Amarone, Valpolicella and Valpolicella Ripasso, alongside a metodo classico sparkling wine, working with small-oak aging under a SQNPI sustainability certification held since 2020.
