History
The Tessari family has farmed at Fittà, high in the Soave Classico hills, since the nineteenth century, and Giovanni and Rosetta Tessari set up their own winery, Suavia, in 1982. From 2001 their daughters Meri, Valentina and later Alessandra took over, making organic, cru-focused Garganega that helped lift Soave's reputation, above all the Monte Carbonare.
