History
Bertani is one of the founding houses of Amarone. Established in 1857, its co-founder Gaetano trained in Burgundy under Jules Guyot, and the house helped define Verona's wines, launching Secco-Bertani from the Valpantena in 1870. Its long-aged Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, first released in 1958 and made only from Tenuta Novare, is a benchmark of the traditional, gracefully evolving style.
