History
Nusserhof, the 'nut farm', is an urban estate within Bolzano worked by the Mayr family for well over two centuries. Heinrich and Elda Mayr farm it organically and naturally, with indigenous yeasts and long ageing, championing native Lagrein and Teroldego and rescuing the almost-extinct Blatterle, of which they are the largest of a handful of growers.
