History
Querciabella is a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in Tuscany and a maker of celebrated Super Tuscans. Founded in 1974 at Greve in Chianti, it made the Cabernet-Sangiovese Camartina from 1981 and the barrel-fermented white Batàr from 1988. Since 2000 it has farmed biodynamically using plant-based preparations, producing refined Chianti Classico alongside its IGT flagships.
