History
Pasquale Forte, an engineer turned farmer, founded Podere Forte in 1997 at Castiglione d'Orcia, in the UNESCO Val d'Orcia.
The 500-hectare estate is worked entirely by biodynamics, its 24 hectares of vines making the Orcia reds Petrucci and Guardiavigna, about 60,000 bottles.
