History

La Fralluca — the name an acronym of its founders, Francesca Bellini from Pisa and Luca Recine from Milan — was born when the couple left city careers in 2005 for the abandoned hills of Suvereto, in the Val di Cornia, restoring a ruined farmhouse among forty-five hectares of woods and scrub.

On about ten hectares of vineyard at 120 metres, farmed organically and mostly by hand, they grow Cabernet, Sangiovese, Syrah and Vermentino, making a small range of Val di Cornia and coastal-Tuscan wines.
