History
Fuligni is one of Montalcino's oldest and most traditional estates, founded in 1923 on the north-eastern slopes where classic Brunello was born. Farming Sangiovese in the cool Cottimelli area, the family makes structured, austere, long-lived Brunello in the old style, with the Ginestreto Rosso and the estate Brunello and Riserva regarded as benchmarks of traditional Montalcino.
