History

The Costanti, a Sienese patrician family in Montalcino since the 16th century, are among the estate's oldest names: Tito Costanti was one of the first to label his wine Brunello in the 1800s, and Emilio Costanti began regular commercial bottling in 1964. Andrea Costanti has run the estate since 1983, making elegant, long-lived Brunello from the historic Colle al Matrichese.
