History
Capanna has belonged to the Cencioni family since 1957, in the Montosoli zone north of Montalcino; Giuseppe was one of the 25 founders of the Brunello consortium after the 1966 DOC.
Now in the third and fourth generations, it makes all the Montalcino denominations, Brunello, Rosso, Sant'Antimo and the sweet Moscadello di Montalcino.
