History
Girolamo Russo is one of Etna's most admired growers. Giuseppe Russo gave up a career as a pianist to found the estate in 2005 in memory of his father, farming old alberello vines on the volcano's northern contrade. His fragrant, detailed Etna Rossi from single sites like San Lorenzo and Feudo di Mezzo, and the estate 'A Rina, are benchmarks for elegant Nerello Mascalese.
