About twenty hectares of old bush-trained Cannonau (and a little Granatza) at Mamoiada in the Barbagia, from roughly 600 metres upward on granite soils at the foot of the Gennargentu, with vines averaging fifty years and some reaching a century.

History
The Giuseppe Sedilesu winery is a family estate at Mamoiada, in the mountainous Barbagia at the centre of Sardinia, farming certified-organic old-vine Cannonau by traditional bush training. The family also rescued the local white Granatza from near-extinction through massal selection. Working with spontaneous fermentations and minimal intervention, Sedilesu became a reference for pure, powerful Mamoiada Cannonau.
