History
The Travaglini family has grown vines in Gattinara since the early 19th century, but the modern estate dates to 1958, when Giancarlo Travaglini set out to raise the zone's quality, pioneering high-density planting, barrique trials and his patented curved bottle. The largest quality grower of Gattinara, its Riserva and the three-cru TreVigne are Alto Piemonte benchmarks.
