History
Morgassi Superiore was founded at Gavi in 1993 by Marino Piacitelli, on steep south- and southwest-facing hills in the heart of the Cortese di Gavi zone.
Now run by his daughters Marina and Cecilia Piacitelli, the estate farms around nineteen hectares of vineyard within a fifty-hectare property, making about a hundred and fifty thousand bottles a year built around Gavi from the white Cortese grape.
