History

The di Grésy family has owned land at Barbaresco since 1797, long selling its grapes; in 1973 Alberto di Grésy began vinifying his own fruit to bottle the character of his vineyards, above all the Martinenga monopole, the largest single-family-owned cru in Barbaresco. The estate is a reference for elegant, classical Barbaresco (Martinenga, Camp Gros, Gaiun).
