History

The Casetta family has farmed in Vezza d'Alba since 1725; grandfather Pietro Casetta began bottling wine for private clients and local restaurants in 1924, and the present company was formally founded in 1953.

In 1960 two of Pietro's sons, Giuseppe and Ernesto, expanded the estate with new vineyards and a new cellar, building a range that today spans Barolo, Barbaresco, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba and Roero Arneis.
