History
Elio Grasso is one of Monforte d'Alba's benchmark estates. Elio left a banking career in 1978 to make Barolo from his family's vineyards in the Ginestra cru, building a refined, balanced style that bridges tradition and modernity, with long maceration and large botti alongside careful oak. His Gavarini Chiniera and Ginestra Casa Maté, and the rare Runcot Riserva, are references for the powerful Barolo of Monforte, now made by his son Gianluca.
