History

Ceretto grew from a grape-buying merchant house founded by Riccardo Ceretto in the 1930s into one of the great estates of the Langhe. From the 1960s his sons Bruno and Marcello, the 'Barolo Brothers', bought top crus, Bricco Asili in Barbaresco and Bricco Rocche in Barolo, and built dedicated cellars for them. In the 1980s Ceretto helped revive the white Arneis grape with Blangé, now a signature. The estate farms organically and remains a Langhe benchmark.
